PowerBook G4
On the 9th of January 2001, Steve Jobs announced the PowerBook G4.
With the phrase Power + Sex, Apple designed its new pro laptop not only to be powerful featuring a G4 processor in a laptop for the first time but to look stunning with its new Titanium design.
This Powerbook was truly an eye pleasing design leaving behind its outdated black plastic predecessor, the Powerbook G3.
One other change was the orientation of the apple logo being flipped around so that it would be “right side up” when the lid was open.
It’s amazing how much this product inspired laptop design by PC makers for the next 8 years.
