As my family continues to deal with the loss of my father last week, I find myself wondering how I’ll feel when I next pick up a camera, how I’ll see the world in this next chapter of life, and whether my drive to explore and share what I see will be replaced by something else, some other instinct. To run. To hide. To escape.
We still have weeks and months ahead of us to figure things out, for my mum, my brother and his family, and for me. It’s all unknown at the moment, nothing’s certain, but I trust that when the time comes, my gut will point me in the right direction again.
