Daring Fireball:
“The difference in screen size from the iPhone 3GS, the standard iPhone available at the time, to the original iPad is a factor of 2.7 times  —  which turns out to be the exact same factor between the iPhone 6/6s and the iPad Pro.”
This is a really interesting point to consider, given that the iPad Pro seems monsterous. At the same time, iPad mini especially and the iPad Air to some extent don’t feel that much larger than iPhone 6 Plus. So perhaps iPad Pro’s size factor is the inevitable outcome of our larger phones…
