I liked a photo on Instagram: “🇨🇭 The insanely beautiful Oeschinensee in the Bernese Alps — this is the first film shot I’ve posted here (Fuji 400H film with a Plaubel Makina 67 medium format camera), though I’ve been shooting film for 8 years now and shoot most of my personal work on film.
I love shooting all formats of film — instant, 35mm, 120, 4x5, 8x10 — for so many reasons: the often-slower pace, the anticipation of waiting to see the results, the creative freedom gained by choosing your film stock before you shoot, the crazy dynamic range of certain emulsions, et al.
