The instinct to run when uncomfortable is powerful — it comes from an ancient place, buried so deeply in our psyche as a survival mechanism that even when our lives aren’t actually threatened, we react as if the danger is real.
Facing those fears, pushing back against the false-instincts, is how we grow and learn the most.
